Alright so you've spent some time exploring the front end of Vanilla, maybe created a couple posts and updated your profile. Now it's time to explore the administrator side of things and get comfortable with the different settings in Vanilla.

💡 Top Tips
- Check out and explore the different dashboard tabs:
- Appearance contains branding (SEO) and theming settings
- Moderation has your user menu and key moderation tools
- Settings has everything else: the majority of settings are here
- Analytics contains out of the box and custom dashboards (Read more)
- For established communities, most of these settings will already be configured. If you want to press buttons and try stuff out, we recommend doing that testing on staging.
- We'll explore many of these settings in detail in additional modules, so just take a peek and check things out for now.
- The addons page has additional settings for many 'addons' of Vanilla, be sure to click the settings button next to different addons to find additional goodies!
